So, what is the point of feeling better about yourself? Is life truly some sort of competition where you have to beat people at everything?
To Be A Rock And Not To Roll: Classic Rock Teaches Us To Chill TF Out
Something special about many classic rock songs is that there are elements of mortality and nihilism that are hard to ignore if you actually listen to the lyrics. Simply put, these songs scream the idea that life is meaningless, and we're all going to die, so stop worrying about petty sh*t.
Flaw Fixation
Controling our flaws doesn’t make us powerful. In fact, it’s the opposite. It’s as if our need to control our flaws has power over us.
The Journey to Ending Racism Is Fueled by Empathy
Empathy is one of my favorite topics to blog about, as I genuinely believe it can solve many social issues, including racism. Many people struggle with empathy, so this solution is not a quick fix.
